About the shop

A husband, a wife, and a peg board.

One building off US-52. Not a chain. The people on this page are fictional, written for the demo.

Wade and Lena Crowe in the shop. Lena wears a canvas apron. Wade holds a coiled cast net. A sewing machine and rolls of marine canvas are behind them.

Wade and Lena Crowe opened the shop in 2014 so a boater on Lake Moultrie would not have to ship a cover off to the coast and wait on a stranger to guess the fit.

Lena came from an upholstery bench. She likes a straight stitch and a zipper that does not fight you. She runs the patterns and the machines.

Wade fishes. His grandfather, Ellis Crowe, tied cast nets in the evenings and threw them at daybreak in the stump fields on Lake Marion. Ellis would not buy a machine-tied net. He said if it does not open round, it is just a bag.

Wade still ties on that peg-board pattern, and he still keeps an 8-foot net in the truck when the shad are up.

It is the two of them, plus a pair of extra hands in the spring when the covers stack up. One phone. One metal building. Rope spools by the door.

If the boat is on Marion or Moultrie, we can usually get to it.

Send the length and what you need. We will tell you whether to meet us at the lift or bring the boat by.
